My Knockout roses are blooming their little hearts out now. Some of my other flowers are still looking pretty good. I've mostly let my pots go...frankly, I just got tired of watering. I really haven't watered these in the ground much lately, and as dry as it's been, I'm surprised they are doing so well. The Knockout you see in the mosaic is one I planted in the middle of summer. The colder weather with the killing frost is coming, I know. I am enjoying these every day that I have them. Hope your week ahead is a good one.
Until next time...
A beautiful mosaic! Your roses really are putting on a burst of speed.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised that mine didn't seem to be affected by the frost on those two nights. Would you believe that the weather turned warm over the weekend and we were back in the 80s yesterday? Crazy shifts in temp that's for sure.
Wow, your roses look great. Mine went to sleep a while ago. All I have left are spent blossoms. Thanks for giving me one more look.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blooms!
ReplyDeleteyour roses are definitely knock outs to look at and so are the rest of your flowers. enjoy while ye may.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFrost, and snow killed off the last of our flowers. Thanks for sharing the beauty of yours!
Gorgeous mosaic, Cheryl... Our roses are still blooming also--and will until frost. Then we'll cut them back and they will do dormant through the winter.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
What happy colors...your flowers are so pretty. I don't have roses in my yard. So glad you are sharing yours. :) Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteWhat great joy that must bring you - you just let them go and they are still going. Impressive. sadnie
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of knock out roses also. They're great. They just keep blooming and growing without my work on my part! Your flowers are so beautiful. I lvoe the white one. Got rid of the rest of my potted plants on Saturday. Two of the pots were still going strong! But I know the colder days are coming in a few and just wanted all the mess to be gone. I like how you put the pictures in a mosaic, very nice. Hope you had a nice day!
ReplyDeletelot's of pretty colors cherly....my knockouts are bloomin' crazy!!
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is just beautiful, Cheryl. The colors are so vibrant. This is a lovely sight to behold before the frost comes.
ReplyDeleteMy knockout roses are doing much better now than they did all summer. I think the heat was a bit much for them (& me :).
Love the Barn charm...and these lovely roses, giving it their all for us! :D
ReplyDeleteOh darlin', your mosaic is just beautiful! I'm a bit partial to roses...love 'em and yours are just ever bloomin' beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGod bless and enjoy your week sweetie!!! :o)
Lovely. My impatents are just going to town, too and I love them. The purple mums, in both the back yard and front yard are just starting to burst forth in their beauty.
ReplyDeleteA maze of colors and beautiful flowers.. they are all gorgeous, Cheryl.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Pam
Beautiful mosaic! Lucky you to still have blooms.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Carolyn
Your flowers are beautiful! I guess that roses are the last ones to hang on in the fall.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!! I gave up on watering a long time ago. Hope most of my perennials are strong enough to come back next year! -Tammy
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, they are just gorgeous! What is it about cooler weather that the flowers love?! That truly is one of the most beautiful roses I have seen all summer!
I get kind of lazy about watering this time of year too. My petunias are pretty hardy, so they just loved the snow we had! Today, I was picking off the old blooms and noticed so many new ones - If they only knew what was coming... :0(
Hugs,
Barb
I've given up watering, too, Cheryl... but, none of mine stayed looking this good! Knockouts deserve their name, don't they?
ReplyDeleteLove that quilt on the barn! I think that second barn needs a quilt of its own, too. ;)
Have a great week. blessings ~ Tanna
Beautiful blooms and I like seeing them in a mosaic format.
ReplyDeleteThe roses love this cooler weather.
I have very little left looking presentable. We are still dry.

Cheryl thank you for stopping by! Your flowers are beautiful :) I think our little bit of MissouREE is trying to make up for that hot, humid summer with this beautiful Fall. Took a trip to CoMo and the trees along the bluffs were starting to put their color on!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures of your flowers. I love flowers and this year we didn't do very well in the planting flowers. We have few; but I want more. Just keep on enjoying those lovely flowers and your journey.
