I pass by this barn often and just recently thought
to pull over on the shoulder of the highway
to snap a photo. The traffic was light that day so
it wasn't too difficult. Too bad I can't get a
shot of the front of the barn.
This building sits fairly close to the barn.
The little sign on the front says
"The Hen Hotel".

Until next time...
As usual I love your barn picture. I love the last picture and I can see the sign. I am going to post another Barn picture of mine soon. I just noticed about 8 blocks away from my house there is a barn. I hadn't noticed it before because it is off the road a little ways. I was amazed to see it.

Lovely barn with an interesting shape. Hen Hotel, wonder if that's a chicken coop? It looks pretty big for that however. Maybe it's a spa!

ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture - I love the sign!
I have been looking around for old barns since I live in the country! I did see a barn, that I drive by all the time, but never really took a close look at it! I took a picture of it, I will post it soon - I just adore your barn posts!!
Hugs,
Barb
p.s. I hope you are cooling off some in your neck of the woods!
CHARMING.
ReplyDeleteI like to see a nice well cared for barn. So many I see they have let go to rot. Some of them just need the weeds cut down around them.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Love barns! Where I live you just don't see them often. We have a barn at our property but it is a pole barn and has zero charm! That one is so full of charm.
ReplyDeleteSorry I've been missing in action this month! Lots of crazy happy going on with grands galore!
Nice one! I'm like you. There are barns I pass everry day that I have not taken a picture of yet. Hen hotel. How cute.
ReplyDeleteHope you are staying cool.
How cute! Never heard of a hen hotel. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI love it and I bet the Hens do to.
