Barn Charm

This red barn just got a new quilt block not long ago.

It was a beautiful spring day when I shot this.  It was a wonderful day
today (Monday), too.  But!  I'm hearing the tree frog, and he always
announces rain is on the way.  We don't need rain right now!  We need some more of these beautiful, sunny days.

I wanted to include a close-up of the quilt block.  Do you like the quilt barns?  There seem to be more and more of them popping up in our area.

Until next time...

  13. really nice!

i just read an article on the origin of the quilt blocks on barns in the 'parade' magazine - the insert that comes in the newspaper. it is so cool to know this started thru a daughter and her mother in ohio.

  22. Just like it does a bed, a new quilt really spruces up a barn.
