Barn Charm

I found this barn alongside the highway around the last of March on one of our country drives and got a couple of drive-by shots.   You can probably tell I was facing the sun on the first shot.  As I drove a little further and looked back for the second shot it looks like a different barn.  It's not pretty, but interesting and I like the faded red barn wood.

Check out Barn Charm at Tricia's Bluff Area Daily to see some interesting and beautiful barns.

Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time...

  4. I like how different the back is from the front. The faded red paint adds character but at the same time casts a bit of melancholy to the place.
Great find!:>) It's cool that you were able to get two completely different shots.

  5. It does look like two different barns, funny how you just move a bit and it all changes. I love the shape of this one, it's not one I've really ever seen around my area.

  15. That barn has history and a story to tell and that might be more important than "pretty." ☺

  17. The fading red, it looks a bit like something one would do on purpose to make it looked weathered, a great barn find!

  22. Pretty! This looks familiar. I had my camera but was in a melancholy/lazy mood on the way back from CoMO on 63 the other day, and didn't even get it out.. although there are several nice barns along the way! Very nice capture - love the reds always! -Tammy

  27. Love the barn. Barns are so regional. In New York state we ran across circular barns which was pretty interesting. Plus I have a china barn collection.
