This weathered old barn sits all alone in the middle of
nowhere. Well, almost alone. There is a business not too
far from it on a busy highway. I'm wondering if anyone
from my state will recognize it. I'll tell you next Tuesday
where it is, unless someone guesses correctly!
Linking to Tricia's Barn Charm
Until next time...
Your post below...I don't know which I love more, the beautiful moon, sharp looking robin, or your gorgeous flowers, wow!!! The barn is not too run down, i've seen them in worse shape. But I think it must not be in use because of all the bushes growing around it.
ReplyDeleteI will just have to wait to find out...almost looks to me like the back wall is gone. Is that trees I can see through that door? Great find...definitely looks abandoned!
ReplyDeleteIt makes you wonder what the history is- it appears to have good bones, I wonder why it is abandoned?
ReplyDeletelove the roof. (:
ReplyDeletei don't know but i love it!
ReplyDeleteLots of barn charm here, where ever it is!
ReplyDeleteThe lines of that old barn are still straight and true. Too bad it couldn't be rescued. Buy it, Cheryl, and turn it into a home. I'll send you a couple of million while we're dreaming. ☺
ReplyDeleteThat barn still looks really sturdy but could use a little TLC. Cutting all those bushes away would really help.
ReplyDeleteno guess from me since i am far away, but it is beautiful and I am waiting to see where it is.
ReplyDeleteUmm, is it my house?
ReplyDeleteNope no idea, but it's awesome.
Have no idea where it is but I surely did enjoy seeing it.
ReplyDeleteDon't know where it is. But know, it is lovely... :-))))
ReplyDeleteIn my back yard!
ReplyDeleteOh.. wait.. now our garage is painted again.. I guess it doesn't look like that time worn, neglected barn~~ LOL!
Can't wait to hear all about it!
Hope you're having fun.
Happy Mother's Day to ya...
Warm wishes..
Kerin

ReplyDeleteit's not lonely, it's getting a nice big hug from those shrubs!!
No clue! But I hope you're having a nice time!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool barn! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteSuch simple straight lines. She's a beauty!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I wish I knew, but I don't get too far north or west of this area, so I can't even guess! =0
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty, tho... love that cupola & the old weathered wood... i think someone needs to do some trimming! LoL!
Thanks, Cheryl - I can't wait for the reveal! =)
Love it.
ReplyDeleteHave no idea but will be back to find out.
ReplyDeleteI love the looks of this place...no matter where it is.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't recognize it unless it is along I44. That's the road to Dallas. Nice barn!
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm from Missouri and I'm up there from time to time! It's on I-70, between Marshall and Blackwater exit! I think the business is a DQ. Twyla
ReplyDeleteI didn't have a clue Cheryl, but it is a cutie! I think Twyla and Lindsey got it?
ReplyDeleteTwyla and Lindsey guessed correctly! This barn sits in a pasture next to Stuckey's on I-70 just east of the Marshall exit (Hwy 65). I just knew someone who has traveled down I-70 a few times would recognize it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to twyla and Lindsey.
ReplyDeleteA state outsider here... but, it is gorgeous!! Look forward to hearing more. ;) blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeletewell, there is a challenge i can't take part in....I'm so far away from there...
