Happy 2017!

It's hard to believe that 2016 has come to an end.  It
only seems like a short time ago we were all anxious
about Y2K...2000!  Now here we are at 2017.

Last year was a very good year, all things considered.
We have many blessings for which we are truly grateful.

Lots of work got done on our Project last year and
I will have some before and after photos to share
in my next post.

Do you have resolutions for this new year?
I quit making New Year's resolutions a long time ago.
I figure that I'll never get through all those stacks of
magazines.  Nor will I stick with an exercise program
and drink only water.  And I'm pretty sure that I'll
never say no to chocolate.

I do hope to do better with my blogging this year.
It was a busy year so blogging kind of fell by the wayside.
Losing my blogroll didn't help.  I started a new
one but I still feel as if I'm missing some folks.  If you
are one of them, please let me know!

Here's wishing you the very best year ever!
Happy New Year!

Love,
Cheryl

  2. Looks like you did a good job on your blog list. How frustrating! I agree that resolutions only set us up for failure. One of my followers suggests goals instead of resolutions. The older I get, the faster and faster time goes by! I hope you have a wonderful year, full of joy!

  4. Happy New Year Cheryl, I don't make resolutions anymore either. I never kept them. I will be looking forward to seeing your before and after. My grandson shot a racoon off the roof of their dog kennel. It seems as though some are more brazen. I think about your hubby when I see linemen working on the power lines. Take care and thank you for stopping bye. Hugs and prayers from your NW Missouri Friend Shirley.

  9. You just gave me the perfect New Year's Resolution:

I will never say no to chocolate...and could be pretty sure of keeping it. At least 95% of the time.

Happy New Year to you, and thanks for the visits even though I haven't returned half of them lately...and thank so much for the prayers.

  11. Happy New Year, Cheryl.
I'm with you on the new year's resolutions. Why make them only to break them. A set up for failure (particularly the one having to do with chocolate). :D.
Wishing you all the best in 2017.

  12. Happy New Year to you too, Cheryl!

Nope, no resolutions here either. We do have plans...for house projects mostly. I know you get that. Congratulations on finishing your Project! It must feel really good!
