It's party time! I've chosen yellow for my theme this month. January is often gray and wintry and I think yellow is a cheerful and happy color to help brighten up those cold days.

I hope everyone is staying well during this flu season. It sounds like nearly every state has been hard hit. We've been battling bad colds, viruses, or headaches since the weekend at my house.

I have never heard of the name of this last flower, but I have some cookies of the same name. Your photos are so stunning!! You need to do what I did! I will show it in an upcoming post. Make a collage of your yellow photos and hang them in a dark or drab hallway. The effect is amazing!

ReplyDeleteI saw a map of states hit hard by the flu on the news last week, and surprisingly Missouri stood alone as not hard hit in a sea of red. I'm sure that has changed by now.

Yellow is such a needed color this white white white time of year! I think that's specifically why God made goldfinch!

We have had the flu in my family - kids and grandkids, but luckily, not the grandparents! I did get a flu shot, because I have asthma, but so far, I'm still under the radar! Hope you are feeling better... :0)
