Barn Charm

It's time once again for Barn Charm.  I found this barn on a drive
Sunday that I've driven past several times, but had almost forgotten.
I probably should have cropped this, but wanted to leave in the
small lake and the green (yes! we have green again) grass in the
foreground.

Here's a closer look.  I think we're looking at the back side of this
barn and it doesn't look like it's being used much today.

To see some great barns all around the country, just
go to Tricia's Barn Charm.

Until next time...

  15. Can definitely tell that this old barn has been used in the past. Looks like it's had a new roof at some point. I thinking it has many more years that it could be put to some good use. Beautiful green land that surrounds it.
    Blessings.

  22. The cropped shot shows the detail of the barn and that wonderful weathervane but the long shot shows the beautiful setting in which the barn sits.
It may not be used but it seems in wonderful condition.
    Nice find Cheryl!

  23. I love barns...especially old ones. Your photos are great...glad you didn't crop them! I enjoyed the green and the countryside - so different than our high desert scenery.

  28. Your comment in my blog... "I checked my stats yesterday, too, and had 4 times as many views than comments. Several were from Mtn. View CA which was talked about on a blog once up on a time and I've forgotten who they are!"

Gracious me! I get several from Mtn. View CA too!!!!!!!! And you said you remember it being talked about on a blog! Oh wow, I'd love to know who my *stalker* is, from Mtn.View CA. I also have one in Albany, NY. Do you get that one too?

  32. I like it best uncropped. I've often made that mistake, wanting to show all the details of some building, when in reality, it's much more provocative when you see it as your eye sees it. It looks small and rather lonely when compared to the big picture, its authority being diminished. I think it's just perfect!
