This through-the-windshield shot was taken a week ago.
October has been a beautiful month in our area in spite of the drought. I see changes in the fall color every day. We had a few very windy days last week that brought a lot of leaves down.
The beautiful, changing scenery outside has gotten my attention for most of the past few weeks and I don't regret it for one minute. But now, I need to focus on several neglected chores inside. So, I will be away from blogland from time to time the next week or two.
The trees on our Back Six still have pretty color but fewer leaves.
How is the fall foliage looking in your area?
And, do you have any big projects going on at your house?
Until next time...
Just gorgeous and so peaceful!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh...does this have anything to do with the bathroom getting a makeover? I hope so!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenes of fall from your corner...
I love looking at fall colors, Unfortunately there aren't any in Phoenix. I have to drive at least 100 miles north to see any. But it is 70 degrees in the winter, so who am I to complain.
ReplyDeletethanks for the beauty. hope you get lots done! :)
ReplyDeleteI am in love with the colors of fall and though we do not experience it in this part of our world, I am able to experience it's beauty through the lovely photos you've posted. :-)
ReplyDeleteSoooo glad you took the time to notice the beautiful display of Autumn. Wise!!!

Love the colors of fall. I have a lot of fall cleaning to do, but I'm just to worn down right now to do it. Aren't the cold nights wonderful?
ReplyDeleteReally pretty autumn scenes! I always hope for rain days, for inside chores and projects. I never want to waste a beautiful day indoors.
ReplyDeleteI do all my big cleaning, chores and projects in the winter, when I have to be inside anyway!
I am seeing some spots of Autumn in my area. At least, the temperatures are staying out of the 90's. Beautiful foliage color and photographs!
ReplyDeleteLove your Back Six! Our leaves are jumping off the trees by the bazillions today. I just got rid of the painter last night at 5:18. He had been here since last Wednesday! No more projects!! We are kickin' back here. Well, CH has to hoover up the bazillion leaves.. :) Get your projects done so you can come back and play! Rain coming this week!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl....so pretty...beautiful pictures...the leaves are off the trees here....Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteOur colors peaked last week but it is still beautiful. The best colors we have had in years. Leaves are coming down now with all the rain.
ReplyDeleteI dread to see fall leave; more than that I dread the cold days of winter. Our leaves are falling too quick for me, but with rain that is what we get.
ReplyDeleteI am currently quilting a small quilt...52 inches square when I started. I know it will shrink some with quilting and when washed.
We are getting our granddaughter at the end of the week...can't come too soon for me.
enjoy your time away. hope you get done what you need to. the fall leaf colors are just lovely around here. & continue to change daily. i love shots through the windshield. some of my best work happens there. ha. ha!! (:

Hi Cheryl...
ReplyDeletesuch beauty! We too have enjoyed the beautiful colors of Fall.
I just love when the leaves drift down from the trees, and swirl in the wind!
We're still working on projects too... we'll take every minute we can get, until the snow falls :)
Smiles :)

Gorgeous! I love pics like the first one, looking beyond. The trees here are prettier than they have been in years, maybe due to the drought.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of fall; we are now getting the signs of winter in our area. I haven't had enough time to enjoy fall moments. I do look forward to the winter holidays.
ReplyDeleteI will need to get some projects done as soon as I completely recovery from my surgery. I am way behind now. I may need to take a blog break.
Blessings and hugs to you!
The trees are just gorgeous! They are here too.
ReplyDeleteWe are just getting things ready for winter. I thought I had all the hose puts away until I mowed this week and saw one buried in the grass. I will get that today.
Our fall foliage hasn't begun yet. And now, Hurricane Sandy is probably going to take all the leaves before they have a chance to change colors!
ReplyDeleteI DO know about those chores that take you away sometimes!! We've had several big projects going. I'm glad to begin seeing the light of day. Wishing you speedy and efficient progress on your chores, Cheryl. blessings ~ tanna
