Again....

I plan to be catching some much needed
Zzzzzz's today.
I've come down with the dreaded flu
bug again and spent yesterday
and last night coughing, coughing, and coughing.

Even Stormy doesn't want to get
too close to me.  She slept at my feet last
night instead of snuggling up against me
as usual.

Until I get to feeling somewhat normal
again, I'll not be blogging or commenting.
My poor brain is too befuddled to
think of anything to say at this point.

I'm hoping you stay well and have
a wonderful weekend.

Until next time...

  4. That cold is a doosey. I just did a post about it. My Hubs had it terrible but I was taking grapefruit seed extract and didn't get it as bad. It is a natural antibiotic and seemed to work well for me.

We kept each other awake coughing at night. I ended up taking mucinex DM and Hubs too. He also took benedryl.

    Hope you get well soon.

  20. Cheryl so sorry to read this! Take care of yourself. CH had that flu a couple of weeks ago and he still has some chest congestion and coughing. It was wicked. He finally took some of that Alka- Seltzer Plus Cold every four hours until the box was empty and he was on the road to recovery. Hope you are feeling better today and Stormy is keeping your feet warm.

  21. I feel your pain....we just had it a bit back. For coughing, try a tablespoon of honey...it didn't stop it completely but sure helped the bad spells.

  22. Oh ugh...I'm sorry that you're under the weather. Though Stormy is keeping her distance, at least she's at the foot of your bed to give you moral support. Lie low and get well soon. Say, we're not on a teeter-totter are we, you and I?
