The Canada Geese are still here. But the snow that we had Thursday night
and Friday is leaving as of today.
Taking a nap.
Seen on a drive yesterday. The posts are interesting against the snow. Almost looks 3D.
Scene along I-70 taken Friday. It was a foggy day.
St Louis in late December taken from a hotel room.
I just had to throw in a non-snowy photo!
We are now getting rain and are under a severe weather alert. I guess we can look forward to those next. Even though I'll be glad to see the end of the snowy weather, I'm not looking forward to these kinds of weather alerts which seem to be all too frequent here in MO in spring and summer.
This coming week looks to be a busy one, so I don't know how often I'll be posting. Hope you are having a nice weekend and that your week ahead is a good one. Until next time...
All your photos are great...but I really love the St. Louis non-snow pic! I love St. Louis...and if that is they Hyatt on the horizon there to the left, I've stayed there for a seminar for my work. That was back in the days when we traveled. Now we have "web-i-nars"...silly, ridiculous word, isn't it!!! And though cost effective, not as much fun!
ReplyDeleteSweet...Your snow is so pretty, but I know you're ready for some sunshine. Thanks for the update on our little geese..You noticed that I called them OUR. I am claiming them as well....
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are always beautiful...
I'm not at all crazy about storms. They predicted one for our area this past Friday...It rained for about an hour and that was it...PTL
Stay safe this week and take a little time to rest...
Warm Hugs,
shug
I hope your weather doesn't get too wild. I'm having a hard time imagining snow as we were in the upper 70s today.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to St. Louis, but your photo makes it look very appealing. Maybe one of these days I'll get there.
Have a good week.
Crazy here right now, Tornado warning for my county.
ReplyDeleteSeeing your barn quilt on the side of your blog reminds me. the son called me the other day, he was in a restaurant and he saw some women at a table looking at barn quilt books. I immediately texted him back and said get blog names, emails and the book name. Too late Mom, I already left. Oh that boy!
Stay safe
Patti
Crazy weather we all are having. I'd rather have snow than this severe stuff we have been having recently... We are under a severe storm and tornado watch right now. AND--we have had rain off and on all day.
ReplyDeleteLove your St. Louis picture... Beautiful view from that hotel room.
Hope you don't over-do this week, Cheryl...
Hugs,
Betsy
I love the snow pictures but the non-snowy photo is amazing,I really like this one.
ReplyDeleteI feel guilty complaining about our weather, after reading yours and other blogs from America having to worry about extreme weather warnings.
Yes we had snow ,but it did not last that long,we get floods, but non of them are life threatening,we get storms, but the worst that happens is that an old tree gets blown down.I must learn to count my blessings and not complain about inconveniences.
Take care and have a good week.
Carolyn.
Your picture of St.Louis is postcard worthy.
ReplyDeleteLove the goose shots also. Glad the pond is not frozen.
That storm pass us by peacefully. Hope it continues on its journey with out causing havoc.
This is the season of weather alerts.
Love all your photos; the snowy ones are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHope your weather isn't severe. Too bad we have to have some of that before we can get to spring.
Dianna
loved the pictures.... thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful, as always... :0) I love to see pictures of snow . . . PICTURES of snow!! The fence does look 3D and the old shed is very pretty and peaceful looking. That old goose probably thinks he needs to be hibernating instead of taking a nap! The picture of NO snow give me hope! Bring on the rain!!
We are having a heat-wave today! Temps were almost to 42 degrees, I actually went to town without a jacket!
Have a nice "busy" break and don't stay away too long!
Hugs,
Barb
We lucked out last night on the storms! That picture of downtown St. Lou and the Arch is stunning!!! Cheryl you need to submit that someWHERE! I don't know how or where but someWHERE! Enter it in the Fair this summer?!
ReplyDeleteWe got a lot of wind out of the latest storm but no damage. I'm just thankful the snow is gone. Hopefully for good for this year. Your pictures are very pretty. You'll have to check out the geese pictures I took this weekend. Glad you threw in the non-snow pictures ;0 Nice!
ReplyDeleteDid ya get any of that dirty rain durin' Sunday nights storm. Nasty!!!
ReplyDeleteI felt the earthquake too Sunday night. Geese...not much sleep!
God bless and have a beautiful day sweetie!
Giveaway...my place! :o)
beautiful photos! especially love the canadian geese!
ReplyDeleteLoved the spring pictures at the top and the snow pictures were beautiful; although I am so looking forward to spring. My daughter and her family who live in Missouri are coming her next week. I am so hoping that the weather is going to be good.
ReplyDeleteShe always seems to live in the areas where there are weather alert. She lived in Corpus Christi, Texas - Hurricanes and now in the midwest with the tornado's. It's sometimes scary for me; I pray a lot.
Blessings to you! LeAnn
