Featured at Saturday Spotlight

Hello everyone!

I mentioned in my last post that I had a special announcement
for today's post.  When Kris from Junk Chic Cottage asked me if I would like
to be featured in her Saturday Spotlight:  Life Behind
the Blogger series, I was surprised but pleased and found myself saying Yes!
all the while wondering what I could say about myself that
I haven't already said.  Well, there might be a tidbit or two
in the post that I haven't yet revealed until now!

So, for today's post, please go visit Junk Chic Cottage here
and see what I have to say.  Also, while you are there, check
out Kris' lovely blog if you haven't already met her.

Thanks again, Kris, for featuring my blog today!

Have a wonderful day!

xo Cheryl

  2. Cheryl, I thoroughly enjoyed this post and learning more about you! How wonderful of Kris to have this series. I loved the sweet pictures you shared...especially your cute bouffant hairstyle from back in the day (a lot like how I used to wear mine) and you also have two very attractive children! I always enjoy your posts with your beautiful photos and appreciate your heart for rescuing those precious fur babies. Have a wonderful weekend!

Your kitchen is so pretty, I love the red! And, who knew that you loved to paint and craft?! After reading this feature of you, I realized we have more in common than I thought!!

So much fun - thanks for sharing this tid-bit of your life!

  17. My, you really posted a great piece on Chris's site. Thought I knew all about you but was surprised to learn you only use a point and shoot for your amazing photos. Proves what I have always thought. It is the photographer's eye not the camera that makes a great shot. Well done.

  19. Hi Cheryl, coming from Kris' to say hi and that your photos on this page are so pretty. And your quote from Gladys Taber caught my attention right away as I love her so much and have almost all her books. Such wisdom in them. I can tell already that your blog shows you practice the "ordinary arts" you talk about in the Thomas Moore quote on your sideboard.

I'm glad you had such a good time in Branson, and oh my goodness, the pics of the food there! Yum!

  21. Cheryl, I was happy that Kris featured you on her Saturday Post. You are so pretty in all the picture, you and your hubby. Hope you get many new followers. That will be fun. I like the bathroom in the house that your daughter will be living in. I had almost forgotten about all those projects. I am sure you and your husband surprised yourselves with what all you could do on your own. My Ted and I have been thru many of those make overs. It's fun some times. LOL. You make me want to go to Branson ...I have never been there. Blessings for a great Sunday. xoxo,Susie
