This rustic barn was seen on a recent drive through the countryside.
It looks as if the roof has seen some repair. I wonder
if it is in use today? I think it still has a certain charm,
what do you think?

Until next time...
I think it has a lot of charm! Hopefully the roof repair indicates someone is taking care of it, and it will be around for a good long while yet.
ReplyDeleteI love the shape of this barn...I am sure it has a name, althought I don't know what it is. Lovely shots, wonder what the chute was for?
ReplyDeleteNestled snug as as a bug on the edge of the woods. Beautiful shot, Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
:)
These barns have so much character. Even if it's not still in use, I would bet there's lots of interesting stuff inside of it.
ReplyDeleteThe small holes in the front are interesting- wonder the purpose? Nice shot Cheryl!

I think it absolutely has Charm! Love the roof line and the teeny windows. Those teeny windows in barns get me every time. There were some charming teeny windows last week too! I want to believe that there is an effort to restore some of these weary charmers because I am seeing quite a few repairs :) Charming snap Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteI love how it looks. It also looks pretty sound, no sagging spots or leaning.
ReplyDeleteIf they keep the roof repaired it should last forever.
She looks lonesome out there all by herself. But I'm sure she was surrounded by a flurry of activity in her day. A great shot!
ReplyDeleteLove the slope of the roof n that rust!!! Very charming!
ReplyDeleteI think you find some very interesting barns. Is this roof style common in your area?
ReplyDeleteoooohhhhh i love it, a real solid charmer. i think that tin roof steals the show!!

I think it has tons of charm...I just love the way it is built.
ReplyDeleteYes, it has an unusual shape. If only they would paint the roof!!! It could be made really nice. But maybe it is abandoned.
ReplyDeleteThere must be something in that corner they want to keep dry or else they got overwhelmed by the size of the job and just quit.
ReplyDeleteI think it has a lot of charm - have you gone out of the car to check if anything is in it? sandie
ReplyDeleteI think so too, I love barns of all shapes and sizes and age..the older the better! ;D
ReplyDeleteI would say that barn certainly has a definite "charm". I loved your sunset photos from yesterday.
ReplyDeleteThey are awesome.
Carolyn
I love the shape. Rusty metal roof?
ReplyDeleteI think it's really nice! To me it doesn't look like it's being used right now! Hope you have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteI love old barns and churches also. This one is quite unique!
ReplyDeleteThe sunset photo's in the previous post are gorgeous!! :)
Love the picture; keep them coming!
ReplyDeletecharming, indeed...yes, it news a lot of work but I know it could be saved. lovely capture. genie
ReplyDeleteA very charming barn! It has just the right amount of weathering and mystery to it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I think the popularity of Barn Charm proves just how much everyone loves a barn: in perfect condition or one that's about to fall down!
ReplyDeleteI do like the structural design. It looks very "relaxed" in it's sloped hillside setting, though a bit perilous to enter! I'm enjoying your photography and the sunset from yesterday!
ReplyDeleteYes ma'am, still a definite charm there in the old barn! Love the shape of it, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining this week's Barn Charm =)
You find the neatest barns. You have made me look at barns as we are driving now.
ReplyDeleteI just found you blog at Barn Charm. Love the pictures of the barn. I love taking pictures of barns too.

I LOVE the shape of this barn's roof! And I also like the rust on it, which adds tons of charm.
ReplyDeleteThat is a barn with alot of charm. Awesome photos!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That’s a big barn, and from the pictures, you can clearly tell that the roof needs replacement. And with a barn as big as that, replacement will take quite a while. You’ll need roof experts to handle that.
ReplyDeleteIndeed, this rustic barn evokes a lot of character. I love its unique build. I would love to see its roof and wall painted with pastel colors though. Also, the lawn outside needs a little bit of cleaning. I wonder if someone has already addressed this lovely barn's repair needs.
