This and that...and a barn

The foliage behind the pond just a couple of weeks ago.

Only a few leaves remain on the trees today.  The tree in the foreground that is in our back yard is one of the last to ever lose its leaves.  I've been watching the leaves falling out my window and humming when I'm working in the kitchen"The falling leaves, drift by my window...."  Do you remember that old song?

I'm off to do a bit of shopping in a few minutes.  It seems like we are always out of something.  I started a list over the weekend and it's grown quite long.  One item is my anti-virus protection which has expired.   Do you have a favorite that you want to recommend?  I've been buying Kaspersky.

The barn below is my offering for this week's  Barn Charm.
This was taken about 2 weeks ago from the Lookout Point above the Missouri River.  The zoomed photo was a little washed out, so I tweaked it a bit in PicMonkey.

Linking to Barn Charm.

Until next time...

  10. Love that barn shot...looks like a watercolor!

I have used Avast, which is free...and it was good. I know two other people that use it with success. I have McAfee which is free with my internet service now. I know someone else who used AVG...I have also used Trend with success....

  13. Beautiful barn picture, Cheryl. Red barns always catch my eye.

Most of our Fall leaves are 'down' also... We have cleaned the yard twice in the past few weeks--and will need to do it at least one more time --after the rest of the leaves come down... Fun fun...

    Hugs,
    Betsy

I sing 'Autumn Leaves' throughout the fall months.
I learned the song in Jr. High Glee Club too many years ago to mention. :)

  30. What a sweet lil barn, esp w/ that big ol tree sitting right there next to it.

As for the anti-virus... AVG is the very best out there, in my opinion. I've used several others & AVG has never given me a problem & the best thing is that it's free. I have 2 computer guys that help me when I'm having computer problems, if one can't make it over, then I call the other, & both swear on AVG. There's a version you can buy, but I've never had to, because the free version works excellent!

    Thanks for joining =)
