Thank you....

Thank you to all our veterans everywhere!
I've thanked my hubby, who is a Vietnam veteran.

Also, I want to thank all of my blogging friends who commented
on Thursday's post.  Life goes on and while I'm still not happy and never will be about the outcome of this election, I am still going to post here and visit all the wonderful bloggers that I have come to know and enjoy.   I have been a bit slow lately as I hurt my hand a few days ago.  Our kitten, Peanut, came flying down the hall behind me and ran between my feet causing me to stumble.  While trying not to fall, I hit my hand against the door frame and really banged it up pretty good.  It has been pretty swollen and I couldn't bend my ring finger or little finger for a few days.  I still have trouble with the little finger and can't yet make a fist.  So, typing has slowed down as well as work on projects here at home.

Hope your week is off to a good start!  Can you believe that Thanksgiving is next week???   Yikes!!

Until next time...

  13. Ouchie! I hope you didn't break a finger and that your hand feels better very soon.

I honor all the brave men and women in our military who defend our freedoms so valiently.

It is hard to believe it will be Thanksgiving soon--I'm actualy glad I am not cooking the meal this year and that we will be guests at my nephew's house. It's been a busy time here as we have begun packing for our upcoming move.

  16. Thank your husband!

Ahhh yes, how to come back to Pretty Blog Land, after the election...? We each have to do, what feels best, to/for us.

Naughty kitty! Hope your poor hand is better soon. Meanwhile, please do not aggravate it, by any of blogging! Please!

    Gentle hugs,
    "Auntie"

  17. My uncle that lives with us is a Vietnam Veteran and my hubby is a veteran as well.
I sure hope your hand starts to feel better soon! My pups usually catch my feet with their nails and heavy paws.
We have to move forward and stick together. I was with a neighbor last night that is concerned for her job and her home. Her family is in Alabama and she is alone here in Orlando as far as family goes. She's so upset about the election as many are.
Hope you have a good week, Cheryl!

  19. Sorry about the cat accident. I have seen some of the outside cats almost trip DH when they follow him around.

My DH was in the Marine Corps but he missed the Korean and the Vietnam actions both which was not a bad thing!
