~Stormy~
Today, I will share some photos of the furbabies to show you how excited they all were to see us the night we returned home from Branson after the Thanksgiving holiday.
~Peanut~
We were very glad to see them after a 5 day absence.
~Truman~
I'm not sure just how much they missed us. I did catch a yawn
or two in the midst of the hugs and kisses.
~Sissy~
We did have someone checking on them twice a day and got
frequent phone calls letting us know they were doing fine.
I have to admit that we all missed them. We have quickly become
attached to our little fur family. The last two pictured are supposed
to be outdoor kitties and belong to our daughter. They weren't supposed to be inside so much, but somehow they found their way into our house and into our hearts. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!!
Until next time...
LOL.... Well the last fur baby lifted it's head anyway. I miss having animals, but we travel so much that it just isn't fair to them.
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great time in Branson
Loved the pictures and had to laugh. A dog will bowl you over with enthusiasm when you return. Cats are too ticked off at being left behind to do anymore than yawn distainfully. Mine usually gave me that bored "Oh, did you go to the store," look after a ten day absence.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad the outies have become innies.
some one has been playing on picmonkey.... love it. so cute. wonder what kind of book a cat would read? a cat book?! so cute!! have a great weekend. ( :
ReplyDeleteWe are hardcore dog people. We have 3. We never did well with kitties and then...we went to a state park and a sweet kitten showed up out of nowhere and now we are cat people too. (just 2, for now)Love your furbaby pics.
ReplyDeleteIndoor cats are much safer, aren't they? Fioré once belonged to my niece...for two seconds and a half. You can't leave a cat with me and expect me to give her up a few years later. No way. Love the little outfits you've given them...you were playing paper cats!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet, it took me a second to realize that you added the glasses, etc.
ReplyDeleteFun post, Cheryl. Thanks for my morning smile ~:)
These pictures show the true attitude of cats...they could care less. We have one that just hides out when company comes....when they leave, she returns. She is like me; she doesn't like change!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures.
I was just about to ask about Sissy and Truman, like where did they come from?.. :) Those fuzz face stinkers had each other and probably turned the house upside down everyday while you were gone! No missing you I am thinking.. :)
ReplyDeleteCheryl!!! $2.99 gas in Columbia! I think we will drive there just to say we filled up for under 3 bucks!! And eat CHINESE.. :)
i can feel the excitement coming off each one of your babies.. oh yes.. can see it to...
ReplyDeleteI know you missed each other. They are adorable. You know if you are going to have an animal you may as well bring them in and enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteHave a good day Cheryl. sandie
So cute! I love your editing! I bet they were so happy to see you!
ReplyDeleteOh the excitement!!! -gigggles-
ReplyDeleteSo cute additions, to the pics. :-)
Fun post, Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet they are.
ReplyDeleteI hate leaving my Abby. She is so alone when I am gone but I have a caretaker come twice a day to feed and play with her. When I come home she follows me around for days.
yeah, those 'outdoor' babies will do that. 2 of my country hounds are spoiled rotten indoor kids, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThere just isn't anything like a cat to make a house feel like a home! Your Peanut reminds me a little of our Puss Puss....and she is a daddy's girl. She is devoted to him...
ReplyDeleteHi Chewryl~
ReplyDeleteThey are just too precious! Unconditional love, even when their eyes are closed!
Hugs,
Barb
P.S. Good to have you home!
I know what you mean because we have three of our own now. And it can be kind of hard for us to leave for the whole day, I worry about what they are up to, they really miss us and meet us at the door. At first I thought you had really put glasses on him!!! But then as I was scrolling, I got the idea.
ReplyDeleteDo you have a favorite, Cheryl? I love Sissy--at least that photo..
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Cute furbabies! My cat always greets us at the door- of course wanting food. She loves to eat more than sleep.
ReplyDeleteWe have an indoor cat who is ancient, but still going strong! Our neighbors, we do love them, will get a kitten and as soon as it does something wrong in the house, outside it goes and takes up residence guess where??? That's right .......on our front porch!
ReplyDeleteOh, we'll.....
Have a great weekend!
Kitties do have a way of winning over hearts! :-) Yours are all adorable and I can see why you missed them! (Love their head gear!)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how these four legged critters make their way into our hearts :)
ReplyDeleteWhat sweeties you have there.
Glad you are back too.
Such sweet fur babies. My daughter has four. They all found her. She lives next a forestry and an interstate rest stop is not too far away. They were probably were dumped. The thing is ... they were dumped very close to kitty haven. She pampers them to the nines. A friend is a vet and takes care of them for free. We will be visiting soon, I will have to get new pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. I appreciate it. Have a blessed week, Ginger
Cute little fur babies!! They are so cuddly!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet, love kitties!
ReplyDeleteIt is so easy to become attached isn't it? I could never leave my babies outside. I want them close to me. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful header, Cheryl!
Cute pictures! I'm sure they missed you too. Sometimes kitties just have a little difficulty expressing emotion!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love how you dressed them up!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they were just pretending that they didn't miss you. :))
ReplyDeleteYour cats are really cute! Enjoyed your photos from the previous post of the sunset. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThey are precious! I have four dogs (three are BIG dogs) and two cats. They all live indoors. They are my babies, and I miss them like crazy if I am just gone for the day!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!!! Mine are currently enjoying playing under, around and on top of the Christmas tree skirt. Looks like I bought yet another household decor item just for them!! :)
