This old relic is on a highway that I've passed by many times. I'm
usually driving, but this time I was a passenger and got a drive-by shot. I love the shape of this barn as it is very similar to the barns
on the farm where I grew up.
To see some great barns around the country,
hope they can save that roof!
ReplyDeleteYou know, if this were all fixed up and renovated, it would make a marvelous house!
ReplyDeleteI too like this type of barn with the side 'wings'. It's still got some loveliness about it.
ReplyDeleteLove you header btw!:>)
That is one sad barn! Sad they're allowed to deteriorate like that. Enjoyed your post from the previous day as well. Hope you're having a good day.
ReplyDeletewow, such great bones. lovely barn. ( :
ReplyDeleteMorning Cheryl, love to see the barn charm even if they are in sad shape.......Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI like this barn. It would be a shame to see it continue to deteriorate. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI like this charming barn too! AND the nekkid trees!
ReplyDeleteDo you think it'll be saved or go down? How sad to see them this way, yet they still have such lovely lines. They remind me of people when we're well on in years...a little bent, a little creaky.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great capture. I love old barns too. I am forever stopping the car to take a photograph of some old barn.
ReplyDeleteKaren
I like the shape as well! Would love to see it all fixed up!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday, Cheryl!
It's such a shame to see these old beauties falling apart. But they make for some gorgeous photos.

It would be grea if someone would give it some TLC. Lovely barn!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame so many have fallen into disrepair. They are forcing folks to tear the old barns down here because of the danger they pose.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
very pretty, but I do believe it has seen some better days...
ReplyDeleteBarns with character...I love em'
they just don't build them anymore..
