At home...remembering

Let us never forget.

A very moving video is here that you may or may not
have seen.  It's worth a look.

May God bless America.

We are back from our week's stay in Branson.  It's back to the reality of work, chores...read Fall Cleaning, and the normal routine of everyday life.  It's certainly good to get away and relax.  We did just that...a lot of napping, eating, seeing the sights, eating, a little shopping, eating and...did I mention eating?  I think I gained 10 lbs on this trip!!  The first order of business is going to the grocery store and stocking up on healthy food.  Hubby got out the riding mower this evening and mowed a walking path around the back 40 6 for us to start walking on in the evenings.

I'll share some photos of our trip later.  Meanwhile, it's good to be back and I'll try to catch up on blog reading soon.  Until next time...

  2. We were out of town for the weekend, so I'm playing catch-up today.

Glad you had a good vacation. And I understand completely about all the things waiting to be done once you return home!

  5. To me a successful trip is measured in pounds gained. Sounds like yours was a winner.
    Looking forward to pictures.

  8. Actually on a trip the eating is always such fun; but the pounds gained aren't that great. However, I would still do the eating.
Have fun coming back to real life; but always keep on enjoying the moments.

  9. Welcome home. It is so much fun to eat and eat on vacation. Not quite as much fun to exercise and excercise once home.
