What's that?

We saw the sun Saturday morning!
Took this pic of our frozen pond from the back door.
There was some fog lingering.

We took a little drive this cloudy afternoon. You would think
that this picture was taken in black and white.

A different angle of the creek.

Memories:  this creek runs through a part of the land that used to be my mother and dad's farm.  It can really be full when we've had a lot of rain.  There used to be a large tree next to the creek with branches over-hanging the water and it had large vines hanging from it. When we were children, we would take a vine and swing across the creek to the other side.  Of course, our parents didn't know.  It was a magical place to play and we had lots of fun there, but we didn't dare go very often for fear of getting found out.  We were at least smart enough not to go when the creek was filled to the rim with heavy rains.

Until next time...

  1. We used to play in a creek like that at my Grandma's. I was always watching out for snakes! Love your pictures. On Monday, we got 8 to 12 inches of snow out here in Indiana where I live!
