There's an old saying you've probably heard and that is "elections have consequences". I think we have found that to be too true, especially in recent years. This may be one of the most important elections ever. The future of the United States of America as we know it is at stake. Please, exercise your right to vote today!
Until next time...
I was the 12th person in the little old church across the river from Burger's Smoke House. And I was there before 7am. Impressive number I thought!
ReplyDeleteI voted before work this morning. I felt it was the most important thing I could do today! Lots going on in our elections of the Show-Me state today! Will be an interesting night to see what happens, not only here, but around the country :) -Tammy
ReplyDeleteGreat post; and yes, I voted this morning before work ... but after the dentist!
ReplyDeleteWe voted early --to keep from standing in line today. We're watching the returns tonight --and so far, my 'side' is doing very well overall --across the country...
ReplyDeleteTN has a new Governor--who used to be the mayor of Knoxville... He's GREAT.
Hugs,
Betsy
Good Morning Cheryl! I voted after driving to and back from Springfield, MO. And I watched Mr. Obama on TV yesterday afternoon. It is going to be either very interesting down the road or downright boring. We will see what gets done!
ReplyDelete...and that I did bright and early Tuesday morn'. The way I figure it is that men and women have shed blood and given their lives so that we can be blessed with the freedom to vote....so I do! :o)
ReplyDeleteGod bless ya and have the most awesome day sweetie!!!
Hi Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little late at posting, but, yes, I did vote! What an awesome opportunity we have to cast our vote!
Oh my gosh!! What an adorable photo of you! I do hope that you have this hanging somewhere in your home...it's truly a classic! Do you remember the party at all? You do look pretty comfortable around those two little cuties... ;0) Thanks for sharing, I loved it!
