It's time for Good Fences and this is a drive-by shot that I recently took. I've always loved horses from the time I grew up riding them on the farm. We had several over the years, but my very favorite was a horse named Star. She looked like the horse on the right with a white spot on her forehead.
Be sure to pop over to Theresa's at The Run*A*Round Ranch to see many different fences from around the world!
Happy Thursday to you!

they are SO sweet! great fence shot! :)
ReplyDeleteCute foals. Nice shot!
ReplyDeletePretty horses behind that fence. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteThese horses look well cared for and healthy. The one in the middle looks maybe half grown.
ReplyDeleteI also have loved horses for as long as I can remember. My sisters and I used to draw them and dream of having one one day. The closest we ever came to it, which was actually pretty close, was our back door neighbor girls had one and we could pet it through the fence and ride it from time to time in the vacant lot next to our house. The last time I rode it, the horse got spooked, side-swiped a tree, knocking me off and everyone went running after the horse, leaving me in on the ground...lol! I wasn't hurt but my pride was :( Anyway....that is one beautiful drive-by shot! Thanks for sparking that memory!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo and good memories. Blessings, Catherine
ReplyDeleteBeautiful horses! We made friends with two Clydesdales over the years; they were boarded at a nearby farm, and we always made sure we visited them on our walks. Now that we have our own farm (and donkeys), we get to have equine-ish fellowship every day. Your post brought back some lovely memories.
ReplyDeleteGreat fence and horses, Francine.
ReplyDeleteLove your fence and horses...sad to say, I have always been afraid of horses..raised in downtown Dallas and never around horses. I've always thought they were just beautiful...as long as they are on one side of the fence and I'm on the other. Such a big ole titty baby. :(
ReplyDeleteOh I love the name Star and I love this shot it is so pretty. Horses are so beautiful. Hug B
ReplyDeleteI share that love of horses !
ReplyDeleteGreat shot.
The good kind of fence which makes it easy to pet the horses.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a great shot!
ReplyDeleteLots of pretty horses behind fences today. These are quite nice. I enjoyed hearing about your favorite horse as well.
ReplyDeleteI've really enjoyed seeing all the different kinds of fences today! Gorgeous horses!!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Looks like some young horses in the herd, too which is always good. It's wonderful to see the horse farms...or ranches growing! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteA nice group of horses...two colts and their mothers? I know so little about horses.
ReplyDeleteYou are right!
DeleteI LOVE horses too. Star sounds sweet. Like the contrast of the fence to the scene inside.
ReplyDeleteThat is a GORGEOUS fence and the horses are beautiful, too! Lovely- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI really like wire fences .. . . and they bring the best views for Theresa's Good Fences . . .
ReplyDeleteAnytime there are beautiful horses behind a fence of any kind....it's well worth photographing!!! Spectacular image Cheryl.
