I had planned to go to the city today, but it's beginning to snow a wee bit. A little snow never used to bother me when driving, and I've driven in heavy snow to go to work in the past. Now that I don't have to get out in the elements, I usually don't. But you know when you've had your mind set on doing something and you have to change your plans? I'm not as good as I'd like to be with going to Plan B. Not that I had anything that earthshaking to see to today.
I do want to thank everyone for the sweet comments on my last post. Ya'll are just so nice!
I was recently told that I was a No Reply blogger. Hopefully I have that fixed now. If you are still having problems, I don't know what else I can do. Nothing was done to change it in the first place and I have no idea how it got that way.
I also wonder why my font seems so much smaller when I preview my post than when I'm actually writing it? I also will have spaces where I didn't put them and other strange things will happen that I didn't want. Am I the only one the blogger gremlins mess with?
Now I'm off to check out the weather forecast again and make a decision on what to do today. I am having an attack of cabin fever, so I hope I can get out of the house for a while!
Happy Wednesday to you!
xo Cheryl
Oh Cheryl, wanted nice weather here too!!!!!! Cold and windy once again, brrr. Francine.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so done with winter and ours hasn't been nearly as snowy as yours. But hang in there, spring is coming!
Deletewe've had lots of yucky weather last week and this week. i keep putting off making appts so i don't have to drive in it. :)
ReplyDeleteI've done that, too. I don't like to drive in wintry weather if I really don't have to.
Deleteyour font is perfect on this post.. and i see no errors.. so sorry you have to go to plan B... lucky me, i live with the man who cuts my hair.. wish i could ship you some sunshine and warm temps.. the photo of the bird is screaming spring is here. hope he is right for you..let us know what plan b turned out to be
ReplyDeletePlan B turned out to be a do nothing type of day. I was lazy and didn't even look at my computer until now. Lucky you to have your hair cut at home! I cut BG's hair, but I wouldn't let him touch mine with a 10 foot pole. lol!
DeleteI have to correct myself. I think I did look at the computer briefly in the late afternoon waiting for BG to get home.
DeleteYeah...this post looks just fine. I have noticed that many of the blogger's recently ar showing up as non-reply...not sure what is going on. Blogger is trying to make us all CRAZY!!!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are making me crazy! And it's not hard to do since I'm the least tech minded person you'd ever meet!
DeleteHoping warmer weather finds you :)
ReplyDeleteWe all need Spring to get here!!
I wonder now if I show up as non-reply?? I'll have to have my technicians check that out... **smile**.
It's a wonder I can work Blogger at all.... it's just a ticking time bomb for me, and "POOF" one day, it just might blow up my blog*** giggle**.
~K.
lol! That's what I'm afraid of...that my blog will just go "poof"!
DeleteHello Cheryl, we had an icy mix overnight and there is a lot of black ice out there.. I wish this weather pattern would change. I would love some warmer temps.. Love your cute sparrow, have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteI think most of us are longing for warmer temps. That sparrow is sitting on a redbud branch, I can't wait to see them in bloom! Happy Thursday to you, Eileen!
DeleteOh-blogger is just a beast lately--with making people no reply--or they don't come through email as they used to. Please complain directly to google/blogger- if no one complains (that it is happening to) it will never get fixed. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI have complained a number of times about various things. I don't think they listen to me! Much like BG sometimes....lol!
DeleteHi Cheryl, your photos are lovely and I know how the weather can change plans. We are heading into a winter storm with sleet and freezing temps here in Texas. Rare for us and we are now so ready for spring.
ReplyDeleteYour selfie is so cute. I know all about the blog glitches. I've been dealing with them for nearly 2 years. I have emailed for help and answers but nothing ever in return for help to fix this.
Thanks for stopping by while I've been on a little getaway.
Hugs, CM
Oh wow, Texas doesn't normally get that kind of weather! Hope it's not too bad. Take care and thanks for stopping by!
DeleteA little Cabin Fever can eat away at you, for sure. Hope the snow you are getting does not add up to all that much. Be safe though and do not take any chances. The curtain rod and haircut can wait.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, Terre. It didn't really do much in the way of snow here, but the city I was going to was supposed to get some so I decided not to go and take a chance of highways being bad.
Deletebeautiful pictures of the white fluffy stuff. Hope you get to go out and get your doings done.....I know how disappointing it can be when you have a day planned and then suddenly, Mother Nature changes your plans...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your new curtains!
I can't wait to get a rod and put them up. Hope they will look okay!
DeleteYour bird with the purple flowers behind him is just a glorious picture! We are the same here. We are hardly over eight inches, now at least six more are coming tonight. March had better go out like a lamb! Your snow pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny! I'm ready for winter to be gone, but the snow does make some good photo ops.
DeleteMore snow? Unbelievable that it just keeps coming. I do not enjoy driving in snow at all and I hate driving after dark in March and April because of black ice.
ReplyDeleteYes, gremlins are afoot. Formatting with Blooger drives me bonkers! I think it's why they do it...to yank my chain. Paranoid much? =D
No you're not paranoid, because they've been yanking my chain, too!
DeleteI love the little bird shot. Sweet. I am sure spring will not be long now for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret. I'm hoping spring will hurry along, too.
DeleteHi Cheryl....
ReplyDeleteHope you got out, and sorted the curtain rods!
Love the wee Sparrow....the snow is relentless,eh!
Your selfie is super...
Enjoy your day!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
The curtain rods had to wait. I decided not to get out because the weather is so unpredictable here. It ended up not doing much, so I guess if my staying home caused that...it was a good thing! lol! Thanks for visiting!
DeleteOld Man Winter needs to get outta town already! More coming here in the Northeast...what feels like the North Pole... THINKING SPRING! Aloha
ReplyDeleteI agree...Think Spring! It has to get here sooner or later, right? Thanks for your visit!
DeleteSome of those strange things have been happening to me too on Blogger. Like the extra spaces. Probably a glitch that will eventually get solved.
ReplyDeleteBrenda
I sure hope so. And sooner rather than later. I'm still having the comments not publishing problem and have had it for a long time now.
DeleteI really like that dark sky over the white snow.
ReplyDeleteDon't blame me, blame where I live--- I love snow mainly because it is a rare treat and I don't have to go anywhere.. We are finally getting our first decent snow right now and I am like a 6 year old with her nose to the window. Can't wait to play in it tomorrow. Yes, I will wear my cleats.
Hope you have fun playing in the snow, Patti! I would probably be happy with snow, too, if I didn't get to see it very often. I really shouldn't complain because we've had a fairly mild winter as far as snow fall goes.
DeleteCold and snowy here too. I don't mind the snow so much, but at this point I am really tired of it! lol
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I think we are all tired of the white stuff. Except maybe for Patti...see comment above you. lol!
DeleteI hope you can get out tomorrow. If the weather ninjas are correct, we are to get oodles of ice and snow overnight and then who knows. I'm so tired of this mess. Have a good weekend and maybe it will warm up!
ReplyDeleteOh no...more ice and snow? I think it is supposed to warm up this weekend. Can't wait.
DeleteI am ready for spring, but the snowy scenes still are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have to say as much as I dislike winter, the snow is pretty!
DeleteWinter seems to be in no hurry to move on, does it? You are a brave girl, going out in the snow today. I am a terrible snow wuss. Last year, I had to take my daughter to a very important doctor's appointment just as a big snowstorm blew in. It was a harrowing journey and I am not using that word lightly. Yes, I am a wuss.
ReplyDeleteIt is so frustrating that Blogger keeps changing the rules. Sigh...
Oh no, you're not a wuss, Cheryl. Most of us don't like to be out on snowy highways. I didn't get out today and it really didn't snow much here. I had heard it was going to snow where I was headed. I always see so many people who drive too fast for the road conditions and it scares me.
DeleteLove your bird photo! Happy shopping!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Marie!
DeleteYour bird photo looks real spring like! I use Live Writer to write my posts. Blogger can be a pain, who knows what lurks there:(
ReplyDeleteI don't like to drive in the snow either, Cheryl. I usually let my husband do the driving if possible! Blogspot sometimes is a pain. I stick with it however as I don't want to move to Wordpress and have to learn a whole new system. I heard Google is phasing out Google + so I hope they don't do the same to Blogspot--ack!
ReplyDeleteHello Cheryl, these are lovely photos!, magical snow photos and pretty little bird. I don't like to drive in snow either. In fact I don't do much driving any more, especially since my husband retired. It is a rare occasion now but I know I must keep my hand in. Not today though, we are expecting this icy rain to turn into a day of snow so it is batten down the hatches time, again! :). Have a great day and I hope the warmer weather finds you soon.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, the snow photos are pretty to see as long as you are not out driving in the weather. I am with you in that if I do not have to go out, then I will not. My attitude is "why take chances" if there is no emergency or need to be on the roads.
