Barn Charm

While not in the best of shape, this old barn looked like it was still being used from what I could see.  It is just off a gravel road about 10 miles or so from my house.  Even though needing some TLC, this barn has a lot more charm than the metal buildings being built these days.

Until next time...

  1. Faded and old, but looks like it still has a good solid structure to it. And of course, it's red...my favorite!

  7. it most definitely has charm and it is still very much able to house animals or hay or whatever they need to store... i bet it will be standing long after the metal has rusted and fallen down.

  8. So true. The metal buildings shouldn't even be in the same category as what we know as 'barns.' :-) The old wood barns have so much character. This is beautiful, despite its condition. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  10. Hope your are feeling better... Slowly I know. But still, hope your heart doesn't ache quite so much, for your dear cat.

Which doesn't sound right, but you will know, what I'm trying to say....

  18. I can relate. I'm a bit beat up with parts missing but am still kinda functional. Old barns give me hope.
