It's a beautiful day! Hope your day is starting off bright and cheery like this little yellow flower. I'm taking my aunt to lunch today. It's been a busy week and I'm ready for some fun and relaxation. We got our garden planted and I finished planting my flower pots yesterday. I think I have close to 40 pots. Do you think I overdid it? Well, you can't have too many flowers, I say. Although, when the summer heats up and I'm trying to keep up with the watering I might think otherwise! I also have my perennials and I plant flowers in the garden, too. What can I say...I love flowers! So, do you have all your flowers planted yet?
Today is the last day to let me know if you want to be included in the drawing for my giveaway. The photo on the left shows whats included in the giveaway. There's a little white pitcher, a gift card, crocheted dish cloth, a bar of soap made with goat's milk and olive oil scented with lavender that's delightful, a dip mix that is one of our favorites that I always stock up on when in Branson, and lastly a cookbook. I'll have to tell on myself. I bought this cookbook new and put it on the bookshelf. Some time later, I was at a flea market and saw a cookbook identical to this one only it was a hardbound book. I bought it not remembering I already had the other one.
The winner of the drawing will be announced Monday. Good luck! And have a wonderful Friday and weekend, too!
Until next time...
WOW 40 pots of flowers is A LOT of flowers. I bet they are all gorgeous. I just have a couple for my front porch, at present. What a fabulous giveaway you are having. That soap sounds lovely for sure. Not to mention everything else.

Wow, that is a lot of flower pots. I'll bet it's looking mighty pretty at your place. It's always such a good feeling to have everything planted, isn't it? I'm almost there, but still have to rip the pansies out of a few beds and replace them with summer annuals.
ReplyDeleteYou have put together a wonderful and thoughtful giveaway. I'd love the chance to be entered.
Have a great weekend, Cheryl.

Well now who wouldn't want to win all of that goodness ! Wow you planted a lot of flowers. I'm still trying to recover my flower beds from last summer's drought. Can't wait to see pictures of all of your flowers.
ReplyDeleteOf course, ENTER ME, ME, ME.
ReplyDeletewell, if i win, you'll have to keep the cookbook and give it to a 2nd winner as it'll never get used here. i could use it as a trivet - but i don't cook! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the little pitcher. Those I collect. Please do include me in your drawing.
ReplyDeletethat is a lot of flowers and this madsnapper would love to be there when they all bloom
ReplyDeleteWow as soon as you said 40 pots, my mind went to watering. I have about a fourth of that number for flowers and when the temps get into the hundreds in the summer, I am watering like crazy.
ReplyDeleteI am still adding here and there but have most of my planting done also. I put in my sweet potatoes and cantaloupe today in the garden.
May we both get temperate temps and decent amounts of water.
I would be honored - to be on your giveaway - looks great! Love, sandie
ReplyDeleteIt is SO cold here we won't be planting anything fragile this weekend. :( I don't remember if I entered your draw or not, or if Canada is included. I'd love a chance if it's okay. Enjoy the weekend. Pam
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, the tension builds!!!! What a really awesome prize, too!!! The yellow flower is just gorgeous!! Is it as big as it looks?
ReplyDeleteWonderful prize! How generous of you:
ReplyDeleteNo, I don't have my gardens planted yet. The average frost-tree date where I live is May 24th. :)) Although today was temtyingly warm, I resisted planting vegetables and annuals.
That flower is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI so love the color of the flower. So pretty! Oh, I so want to win.
ReplyDeleteBoy, would I love to see your home with all those flowers! I love flowers too...I only have a couple so far...but hope to get more real soon!
ReplyDeleteYour giveaway sounds absolutely wonderful! I would love to win!
Blessings,
Gert
I only did about 8 pots this year and two ferns. I didn't want to be watering all summer in case we didn't get any rain. I would like some rain right now! Enjoy your weekend Cheryl, it is going to be pretty today!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be entered, thanks!
ReplyDeleteWe planted. I thought we lost some with the frost, but I picked off the dead heads and there's already new blooms trying to come out, woot!
You're lucky your aunt lives close enough to treat, I have to drive a few hours to get to mine. :) Well worth the drive though. ;)
Oh I can't remember if I told you that I definitely want to be included in your lovely giveaway. How fun. 40 pots, what were you thinking??? I am sure they are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteYiKeS 40 pots, that's a lot of work and a lot of watering!!
ReplyDeletei have not planted a thing, shame on me...i have yet to be inspired ;)
that yellow bloom is gorgeous!!
I normally would be planting lots of flowers, but the past three years have been so dry, I wasted so much money on flowers because no matter how much I watered, it's just not the same as rain. I'm afraid to buy a bunch this year and lose them all over again. We think we are turning into Mexico. :) Better buy cactus!
ReplyDeleteI still have flowers that I need to plant. Right now I am in Arizona visiting a daughter. I am hoping my husband will do some planting while I am gone.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will take some pictures of your flower pots and other flowers.
I am sad I missed your drawing these were great prizes.
Blessings!
