Barn Charm



Once again, I'm sharing a barn photo taken in the Amish community.  I wonder what the room is used for where the curtains are hanging in the windows of this barn?

    my eyes went straight to the windows with curtains and i am wondering to why they are there. maybe that is a get away for the amish wife? they don't look like manly curtains...

    Isn't that sweet, curtains? It always amazes me as to how clean those farms are. Their flowers beds are usually to die for!

    That is something intriguing. Usually there are no curtains on barn windows as we store things.

    I'm thinking office too. My husband just walked by and saw your barn here and said "That's our barn only bigger". :)
    I love Amish barns and we have a lot around here too.

    That is odd. I understand and have noticed that the Amish homes only have one curtain per window since they are hand made. They slide the single curtain across when needed. Interesting to see the two curtains in one window.

    I'm guessing that area is used for an office of some sort. This barn is so big and so full of great uses. Would love to have one like this for myself...
