1. Callie has turned into a real lap kitty. She's happiest when she is on my lap and gets really huffy if I won't let her stay. Stormy likes to be on my lap quite often, too, and it is fun to see her face when she jumps up on the arm of the recliner only to discover Callie has gotten there first.
2. As you can imagine, it's a little hard to hold a laptop and work when you have a furbaby in the way. Speaking of laptops, mine is being contrary. I could get it booted up yesterday, but I couldn't click on anything. I'll be taking it in for a checkup today.
3. I still have what I call my foster furbabies. I keep hoping someone will want them and I won't have to take them somewhere. It's hard to think of them sitting in a little kennel waiting for someone to adopt them.
4. Double your pleasure, double your fun....name that commercial! My hope is that they will get to stay together. Sox and TJ are pretty much inseparable and what I call Double Trouble. They are into everything! I have to put them downstairs numerous times a day and just shut the door. They can't get into quite as much trouble down there and they like to sit in the deep window sill and look outside.
5. I don't normally use slipcovers because I've never found one that looked good or fit nicely until now. I'd begun to notice a few scratch marks on my relatively new sofa. Can't have that. So, I took a chance after looking at several and ordered this one from SureFit. The only thing that I could complain about is that the color isn't quite the cream color that they show online, but it will still do nicely with the other colors in this room.

Until next time...
Cats are precious, but they are a handful, for sure. Hope you find them a new home soon.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, They seem to be having fun. I like when they look as if they are almost hugging. Hope your weekend is a good one. WE may get rain/snow??xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteHI Cheryl Love all your kitties. They all look so relaxed. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThose are slip covers?!!! Wow...a most perfect fit. I will have to remember this when I want a change and don't want to spend a fortune on new furniture. Y'know?
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwww, your kitties are so purrrrecious. Love 'em all. Equally.
Hope the checkup goes well and your laptop is do-able soon.
awww, so cute. love them all ... i bet their personalities are so different. keeping you happy & enjoying their company. happy weekend!! ( :
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute. My Daughter has five cats and two dogs. One day she went out and bought a dog and her hubby did too. They could not take either back because they liked them both. Cat had kittens and the grandkids wanted all of them. Now they are all neutered, so no more cats or dogs.
ReplyDeleteAwww, such sweet babies. I just love lap kitties. One of these days I will have another cat!
ReplyDeleteI too hope you find a good home for the youngsters. Thanks for sharing at R5F this week Cheryl! xo
ReplyDeleteI've always had a hard time with slil covers too. That looks nice and snug. Nothing cuter than snuggling kitties!
ReplyDeleteMorning, sweet Kitty's, love all the pictures, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteThey're SO adorable Cheryl! How will you ever be able to part with them? Loved your sage advice on your 'Selfie' post, and as far as eating dessert for breakfast, (or lunch or dinner), have been doing it forever! Your cherry delight would sweeten yet another, snowy, spring morning here in Toronto!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
Poppy
Such sweet kitties! Your slip covers look great. I have extra sheets covering "strategic" furniture that my kitties love. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI hope those two don't have to be separated. They do become attached to each other. Have a wonderful weekend. xo Laura

ReplyDelete....with double good, double good, Doublemint Gum. :o) I remember that jingle and the twins that sang it. I've often wondered about those slipcovers. The cats are sweet and I really hope they can be adopted together soon. Have a great weekend, Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteI suspect your computer issue could be a hairball. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your R5F Kitty Edition. We are having computer problems too but our problem is CenturyLink who says our little bit of rural has used up its bandwidth so they are going to do a big old upgrade BUT not until 18 April! Hope the kids won't have to be split up. Good Morning and WOW was it stormy last night!!!
ReplyDeleteWill the vet allow you to post that picture in his office? How could anyone refuse two such cutie pies? Course you should avoid all mention of "double trouble." =D
ReplyDeleteFioré has only recently become a bit clingy, which worries me. Perhaps she is only cold like the rest of us!
those two are just so sweet! i hope they can stay together, too.
ReplyDeletegood luck with the laptop!
Hi there, We are back from ANOTHER trip. This time we were in Georgia checking out yet another waterfall... Check my blog today when you get a chance.
ReplyDeleteWell--I hate seeing slip covers over sofas --but sometimes you just have to do it!!!! Don't want those furbabies ruining the sofa... Sounds like you are enjoying your kitties!!!! I'm sure they are pleased to be there with you all!
Have a great weekend. Wasn't that commercial about Doublemint Gum???
Hugs,
Betsy
Sweet little fur babies. I hope they will find a home where they can be together.
ReplyDeleteOh I hope they go together too. You hate to split up friends.
ReplyDeleteI love cats and miss mine very much, but I want to wait till my granddaughter is a little older before I adopt one, or two, again. Your crew are so cute! The Sure Fit cover looks great!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you can find a home that will take both those cute little fur babies!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteI love cats! I wish I could have one, but allergies prevent me from having one in my house, and I can't bear the thought of having an outside cat, and having something happen to it! We have lots of strays in our little country neighborhood, so I enjoy watching them in the pasture catching mice!
I hope you can find a good home for those two rascals! They really are so cute!
I'm going to be babysitting my daughters two miniature dachshunds for 7 days! My big dog thinks they should play with him, and they just hate him . . . should be a fun week! The one thing I love about them, is that they love to cuddle, so I will get lots of love!
Hugs,
Barb
What sweet looking kitties. Too bad you haven't been able to find them a home but there does come a time when one more cat is just too many.
ReplyDeleteOnce I had five.
Awwww....all those sweet, adorable kitties just melted my heart. I hope you can find homes for them. I'd adopt them if I didn't already have 6 of my own.
ReplyDeletethey are adorable...hey that was a gum commercial ( I think..Doublemint? : )
ReplyDeleteSweet kitties. I could never be a pet foster-mom; it takes me about 10 seconds to consider myself a critter's REAL mom. Such sweet pictures of them all. (I know what you mean about not breaking up the set --- both my new donkeys were raised together, and I couldn't possibly just have one. So Virgil and Otis are continuing their donkey lives with us here, happy as can be.)
ReplyDeleteThey sure are adorable!! I would have never know that was as slip cover, it fits beautifully!!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend Cheryl!!
They are so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend :)
Know what your mean. Minnie has become a needy cat lately and making a lap is an gilt edged invitation.
ReplyDeleteSure hope you can find someone to take the pair. They really are attached.
It's definitely tricky to make comments on blogs with a kitty sitting in your lap! ;) Hope your laptop is easily fixed!
ReplyDeleteOh, they are all so dang cute! SureFit eh, I'll have to look into that!
ReplyDeleteThe covers are lovely, you would never know that they are covers. Doublemint Gum!!! I hope either someone takes them or somehow you can keep them...
ReplyDeleteI am impressed with the SURE FIT . . . fit!
ReplyDeleteWow . . . looks the best I have ever seen . . .
Those two little ones are adorable, but bet they are a handful. I do hope they can stay together . . .
DoubleMint gum! LOL! Oh, your furbabies are too cute! I hope your foster babies find good homes soon... though I'm thinking the longer it goes, the harder they will be to part with. Have a great weekend, Cheryl. blessings ~ tanna
