That is a sad story about Star and how your dad sold her. When I lived in KY for a few years as a teen, we had a horse and pony. I especially loved Judy, the horse. When we moved back to IL, we had to sell Judy and Dimple (the pony) - and like you, my dad did it while me and my sister were at school. It was heartbreaking to come home to an empty field and barn.
