Going, going...gone

We are so lucky to have a few beautiful lakes nearby.  This lake is one I love to visit and it's very close to our house.  In fact, I could see part of it from my house if I were to climb the tree in the front yard.   Like that's gonna happen!  I never climbed trees even when I was young because I've always been afraid of heights.  However,  I have always, always loved watching the changing skies as the sun sets.

  15. Just beautiful. I love the mountains but really miss the sunrises and sets that are blocked by the hills. Water is the perfect background for the sun's best shows.

  19. Gorgeous photos of the sunset Cheryl. I'm not a tree climber either and never was as I don't like heights either. Four feet up is good enough. LOL

  30. When I was a kid and we camped out at the lake, I always sat on the bank and watched the sunset. My hubby and I still go outside in the evenings to look at the sky! Makes me feel good! Lovely photos my friend!

  32. Hi Cheryl!

What gorgeous pictures - I am a sunset lover too, they are a perfect ending to the day, no matter how good or bad the day has been... :0)

I hate heights too - once, when I was small, I climbed up a willow tree and fell out - very scary!

    Hugs,
    Barb
